儿子说太好了，牛排一级棒！配菜土豆泥的酱汁和牛排的酱汁混合起来令人惊叹❗️我倒觉得一般，尤其是店员推荐的新加坡猪肉，简直就是油炸红烧肉，腻！

Emporium Eatery &amp; Bar，A World&rsquo;s Best Bar and three time Winner of Hawke&rsquo;s Bay Hospitality Awards Best Establishment，这是我们在NAPIER遇到的惊喜。Eatery是老美的讲法，一般指的是餐馆或食堂，出现在Emporium这样一家格调优雅的高级餐厅身上，老实讲，有点错愕。餐厅所在的街区相当漂亮，餐厅本身也是ART DECO MASONIC HOTEL的一部分，装修很有性格，大理石的长吧台精致酷炫，又在不同部位巧妙陈设了各种古典收藏品，所以现代与经典在这里有了最美妙的撞击和融合，让人得以在时光沉淀的微妙气氛中享用美餐。菜单有点意思，报纸式的印刷在国内见过一些，但在新西兰尚属首次，背面整幅版面都是在讲ART DECO MASONIC HOTEL的悠久历史，1861年开业后两次毁于火灾，现在的建筑从1932年沿用至今，就算以今天的眼光来看，也是时尚华美。餐厅名字有个性，菜单的分类也别出心裁，别处食肆讲的&ldquo;bites or snacks&rdquo;，这里成了&ldquo;nibbles&rdquo;，&ldquo;starter&rdquo;成了&ldquo;small plates&rdquo;，而&ldquo;main&rdquo;也就顺理成章成了&ldquo;large plates&rdquo;。我们点了&quot;Fresh bay fish&quot;、&quot;Roasted chicken &amp; spanish chorizo pizza&quot; and &quot;Kids macaroni with cheese&quot;，这是一种兼顾大人和孩子的比较保险的点餐方式，说起来也都是泪啊。鱼肉煎的火候刚刚好，所以Hawke&rsquo;s Bay kingfish的纹理和细腻一直到入口都被完整地保留下来，小心切开鱼肉，蘸一点特制的金色corn polenta，是这里不多见的别致爽口吃法，鱼肉上的鲜虾黄油饺则是点睛之笔，需要像对付靖江汤包一样来品尝，因为里面竟然是一包汤，而薯泥糕和四粒切成两半的樱桃番茄既独立又丰富了视觉。这里的wood oven pizza应该是我们此次新西兰之行吃到的最好吃的披萨，wood oven，薄饼脆韧，馅料丰富，西班牙香肠地道正宗等等，满足了我们对于披萨的所有想象力，而最特别的地方，是口感上略带酸味，一种让人味觉愉悦又让味蕾充分打开的酸味。对了，别忘记这家最有名的还是它的酒吧，所以，好这一口的，不妨点上一杯，就坐在高脚椅上，偷得浮生半日闲。
